Books On My List

It wasn't until the end of high school that I actually began reading for pleasure other than the annual Harry Potter book. Since then, I have enjoyed books by Jodi Picoult, Nora Roberts, James Patterson, Nicholas Sparks, and many others recommended by my mom and sister.  I owe an added bit of ease of reading to my Nook; I can carry my library wherever I go. 

I find it important to read a book before seeing a movie, and soon, movies are going to be made of all the following books, so I'll need to get reading soon. They are listed in the order in which the movies will be released, thus the order in which I will be reading them. • The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
• The Giver by Lois Lowry-- I actually read this back in middle school when I was desperate for Accelerated Reader Points, but I currently do not recall the point of or end to the story, so I'll be reading it again
• This is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper
• Serena by Ron Rash

P.S. I was so excited to find out that they are making a film of Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl, which will be starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike, as well as Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry. You can see my review of the novel here. Looking forward to the film!
