Motivation Multiplies but Recovery is Needed Exponentially

In retrospect:

It's 8:15 AM on Friday before the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini Marathon.  I missed breakfast from being in such a hurry.  I am trying to save my Starbucks budget since it's only the first few days of the month.  My prep period would give me enough time to grab McDonald's--yes, I know it's not ideal, but I need something quick.  On my way out, I get a text from Kylie, my friend that is running with me, that says, "24 hours!!!! Drink lots of water.  Can't wait to do this with you!!! Have a great day!"  How can I grab McDonald's after that?   

Even On a School Night--Monte Carlo Style

If you do not have plans for Thursday evening, there is a fund raiser for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Indianapolis.  The details of when and where are below.  Come join us for some casino games and raffle! Some of the Colts players will be there, too.

Busy Tonight? What's up Downtown

The skies are expected to clear up later this evening. If you aren't sure of what to do tonight, the Biergarten at the Rathskeller opens tonight with Polka Boy! Since I turned 21, I think I have only missed 5 of their concerts. It's a lot of fun but be warned that the crowd can get a little crazy. The concert is from 7PM-11PM tonight.  Might see you there!

Ralston's Drafthouse

Yesterday after work, I headed downtown to get my hair cut and highlighted for the holidays at Meridian Design Group. You can visit their website here. My stylist is Rudy. I absolutely adore him and really enjoy my visit every time. He transforms my hair to exactly as I had imagined and cracks me up every moment. And, as his info says, "arguably one of the best scalp massages in the city!"
