This is Fall?

This was probably the mildest summer in Indiana since I was a child. The weather, although it has rained a bit this past week or so, has stayed below 90 degrees up until Monday. School has been off to a booming start--no true complaints other than one of my special education classes having 10 too many students.

It has also been a great weekend being able to spend some time with my sister and brother-in-law as well as one of my best friends, Lauren, being in town for weddings. I met up with Lauren downtown for drinks before she had to get ready.  We went to Tastings, a wine tasting bar attached to The Conrad. I've always thought this place was a neat idea; you put money onto a "charge card" and receive a wine glass to go from station to station choosing different wines--each has a different price for a 2 oz. sample. 

Today we are having a small cookout before my sister and bro-low leave. LOVE some ribs!
