Late Night Sessions with Glenwood Drive

My friends Jordan and Brandon have an eclectic rock band, Glenwood Drive. They play around Indy; if you want to find out more about them, you can visit their Facebook page Here.

Last night, they had a nice jam session that they let me participate in.  We ended up playing for 4 hours. It was a blast!

Busy Signal

I apologize for keeping you waiting for my next post.  School has really picked up since spring break with end-of-course assessments, beginning the anatomy unit (pig dissection), and I've been busy on my uke when not working. Yay! I don't plan on posting any performances to YouTube anytime soon, but, to give you an idea of what I'm playing, here are the songs that I've been playing most (for kicks, not all of these are ukulele versions):

Feel the Music

Yesterday when I was sitting on the couch, my parents came walking around the corner singing "Happy Birthday" to me and holding two gifts.  As much as I always enjoy their harmony on the song, I was so confused because my birthday isn't for two weeks.  I even stated this to them on the chance that they forgot that it wasn't my birthday yet.  They had decided that since we would be gone on my birthday and the major gift was not something that would travel on the plane easily for them, that they would give it to me early.
